Cameo Breakfast Smoothie

Ingredients

50g oats, plus extra to decorate

4 Cameo apples, cored and chopped, plus slices to decorate

Squeeze of lemon juice

2 bananas

2 tbsp chai seeds, plus extra to decorate*

200ml milk

Ice

Method

  1. In a frying pan, dry-toast the oats for 2 minutes, turning regularly, then set side.
  2. In a food processor or in a large bowl with a hand blender, purée the apples, lemon juice and bananas together, then add two thirds of the oats and all of the chai seeds. Blend, then add the milk and blend again.
  3. Divide between two glasses, filled with ice, then top with the remaining oats, a sprinkle of chai seeds and sliced apple.
