Richard farms in Horsmonden, Kent with his dad Clive

The Edmeds are one of the most diverse Cameo growers; in addition to Cameo they also grow Gala, Cox, Bramley Windsor, Worcester, Spartan, Discovery, Egremont Russet,Comice Pears, Conference pears & Williams Pears and they also grow 5ha of Plum, mainly Victorias’, 5ha of blackcurrants and 5 ha of Gooseberries

Richard is also board member of the Avalon Grower Producer Organisation which own 50% of Avalon Produce Limited and is Vice Chairman of the Apple Growers Association. The award winning Mr Clive Edmed also doubles up as the BIFGA Vice Chairman (British Independent Fruit Growers Association).
